Privacy by Design: Zero Data Tracking & Zero Ads
All desktop applications, mobile widgets, and digital utilities developed by Uttam Aron are engineered with a strict offline-first philosophy. We do not harvest, monetize, sell, or profile user data.
1. Scope & Applicability
This Universal Privacy Policy governs all software products, mobile applications, system widgets, and desktop utilities created, published, or maintained by independent software engineer and creator Uttam Aron ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our").
This includes, but is not limited to, the following active and upcoming software suites:
- DeskClock — Android Home Screen Widget & Windows Upright LED System Monitor
- PrintFlow — Batch Printing & Document Automation Utility for Windows
- TimeBack — Focus, Productivity & Screen Recovery System
- Upscal Studio — Desktop Image Processing & AI Upscaling Tool
- All Future Applications: All upcoming mobile applications, desktop utilities (Windows, macOS, Linux), and web applications published under the Uttam Aron portfolio.
2. Zero Personal Data Collection Policy
We do not collect, store, record, transmit, or share any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). When using our software applications:
- No Account or Sign-up Required: Our apps function immediately without requiring an email address, phone number, password, or profile registration.
- No Personal File Access: Our software never scans, reads, or accesses personal documents, photos, contacts, camera, or microphone.
- No Advertising Identifiers (Zero Ads): We do not integrate any third-party ad networks (e.g. Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Facebook Audience Network). No Advertising ID (GAID/IDFA) is ever captured.
- No Sensitive Device Telemetry: Hardware stats displayed locally (such as RAM, battery, or net speed) remain strictly in device volatile memory and are never uploaded to any remote server.
3. Device Permissions & Offline Architecture
Our software requests only the strictly minimal OS permissions essential for its core interface utility:
💾 Storage & Cache
Used exclusively to persist user preferences (e.g. clock style, dark/light theme, layout presets) directly in sandboxed local storage.
🌐 Network & Offline First
Engineered to operate 100% offline without requiring an active internet connection. No user activity is monitored over the network.
🔔 Notifications & Services
Foreground services are used solely for real-time timer accuracy, widget screen refresh, and user-initiated background tasks.
4. Third-Party Services & External Links
Our website and software may feature optional external links to official developer profiles, code repositories, or supporter platforms (including GitHub, LinkedIn, Behance, Adobe Stock, and Buy Me a Coffee).
When you navigate away from our ecosystem to these third-party platforms, their independent privacy terms and cookie practices apply. We encourage you to review their respective privacy notices.
5. Data Security & Storage
Because all data is processed on-device and never transmitted to our infrastructure, your preferences and configurations remain strictly protected by your operating system’s sandbox isolation.
Uninstalling the app or using your device’s "Clear Data / Clear Cache" feature permanently deletes all locally stored preferences instantly, with no residual copies kept anywhere.
6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Our products are safe and appropriate for all age groups, including students, professionals, and children. Because we never collect any personal data, our software is inherently compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We do not knowingly solicit, harvest, or monetize any information from minors under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).
7. Policy Updates & Inquiries
We may periodically update this Universal Privacy Policy as new software capabilities or platforms are released. Any updates will be reflected directly on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
